We were recently called out by Mega Fast Karts to carry out some crack sealing in Wanneroo.
They needed us to fill cracks that had formed on the racing track. This was required for safety reasons and to stop the rain and water penetrating any further into cracks. Otherwise they ran the risk of potholes forming on track later down the line.
For this particular job, we used an EmulSeal® binder that is a modified bitumen compound. We only use the highest quality products.
When cracks form, moisture is able to penetrate the surface which causes material failure. Failure to then seal those cracks will result in further cracking, potholes and eventually major breakdown, leading to expensive repairs.
Crack sealing is an efficient and economical method of maintaining tracks, roads, pavements and drives. It is affordable and very effective, especially when compared to more extensive works such as reconstructing.
